Out the Box Learning was founded by Michelle Richards, an award-winning educator with experience across teaching, inclusion, curriculum design and school improvement. Michelle has designed and led local authority inclusion and school improvement programmes, alongside national and international training programmes focused on collaboration, professional learning and sustainable improvement.

Recognised for Excellence in School and College Leadership in STEM Education, Michelle’s work has focused on SEND and inclusion, curriculum innovation and meaningful, engaging learning experiences for young people.

Out the Box Learning has been developed through combining outdoor education, project-based learning and inclusive practice to help schools create connected and sustainable approaches to learning.
